crush, a wonderful feeling that probably end up in tears. liking some one in that way can be feeling like you're a very mean person when talking to your crush, writing a note then signing your name on it and without words put it in his locker/bag then thinking dam that was a mistake, constant blushing, ALWAYS thinking about them, forcing friends to go talk to him/her for you

everyone has different definitions of crush so here’s mine.....having a crush is not the same as having real feelings for someone. Your crush could be someone you’ve known your whole life or it could be someone who you know nothing about. But what makes a crush is this: it’s someone you can’t get your mind off of, that you’re constantly thinking about. It’s someone who you don’t know what it is about them that you like so much, there’s just something there. It’s someone who fantasize yourself with whenever you’re lonely but you know you’re never actually going to be with. Maybe you tell your friends about this person and it becomes an inside joke, or maybe you keep your it your little secret. But most importantly, with a crush, the foundations of an actual relationship don’t have to be there, neither do the feelings- HAVING A CRUSH ON SOMEONE DOESN’T MEAN YOU LIKE THEM AS A PARTNER. “Crushing” on someone is it’s own type of feeling...

Hannah: “So do you like him?”

the person who you look for in a crowded room, the person you get jealous over when their with someone else even just talking, the person you think about when you can’t fall asleep, the person that you make up fake situations of and daydream about, the person you used to feel so comfortable around but now get nervous every time you talk, the person you intentionally plan to spend your time so you can be with them, the person that you imagine a future with, the person you wish you could date, the person that you just wished you knew what popped into their head when they hear your name, but no matter how many times people say it you truly believe there is no way that they feel the same and it crushes you.

friend: ooh look it’s your crush
me: ugh stop reminding me
