Commitment harassment

A form of social pressure that attempts to shame a person into abandoning a lifestyle that is happy and free.
Hey John, did you notice how she asked me "when" I was getting married again, even though I'm not even dating anyone seriously? I know that she wasn't being malicious, but it was still commitment harassment.

Comment Vulture

A person who will go under another person's comments and try to gain notoriety. This can be either in the form of straight-up self-promotion or trying to sneakily redirect people to their social media. There are many form factors of doing this and a multitude of ways to do this.

Example:

(Person commenting under post): "No cap i make better content then 'insert influencer' and will always!"

Example 2:

Person 1: "I love this video and it relates to me, my mother recently died of cancer and this video helps me cope with it thanks so much"

(Person 2 Reply): "Yo guys i just posted my new song and its the most fire thing you will ever hear!"
That guy is a comment vulture no one respects him and he has no family, friends, or anything to live for in life.

So Much In Common

When you have absolutely nothing in common with someone that you have to say you have so much in common as a joke but deep inside it's not really a joke because you actually have absolutely zero in common and it actually hurts sometimes because you can't relate to anything with each other not even anything simple like food or video games or anything like that just absolutely nothing is similar between the two of you and you both know that but you still joke around about it and laugh at silly things together which is perfectly fine but you know it's peak when you point out the smallest thing you both like and act like it is something you have in common when in reality you are just being picky and trying to find something in common from any and every single atom in the universe but at the end of the day as long as you get along with each other there doesn't really have to be anything in common between the two of you.

And breathe. The GIF below signifies the amount of commonality between you two.

Great Debate Community

A loosely connected group of deep thinkers who come together to discuss all sorts of topics, including philosophy.

These communities exist now on social media platforms, such as youtube, whereas in the past they would have come together for social events or debates in front of a live audience.
Johnny joined a Great Debate Community to learn critical and deep thinking in order to expand his debating skills.

Commitment harassment

A form of social pressure that attempts to shame a person into abandoning a lifestyle that is happy and free. It is often done in a non-confrontational (but sneaky) way, such as asking someone who is divorced and not currently engaged, "So, WHEN are you getting married again?"
What do you mean, "WHEN am I getting married again?" I already did my time. Come on now, isn't it time to stop commitment harassment of happy people?

Going Full Common

To give a public expository speech using vague and uplifting rhetoric; spoken in a sing song rhythmic cadence; as though participating in an open mic poetry slam.

This description is based on the key poetic delivery style elements of rapper and slam poet Lonnie “Common” Rashid Lynn.

This expression was made popular by the Season 2 trailer of the series Woke. The expression will get old when people find their own approach to public speaking; and, stop biting other people’s style. Which — actually — means that this expression will be around for a while!
Damn! Did you hear him give that best man speech; he was going full Common celebrating the bride and groom. I can’t remember a word he said but it made me feel a lot better about jumping the broom.
