To avoid fixing the phone time display on an avaya phone because, seriously, don't you already have a watch.

Clockblocking is when the users say, hey fix the clock on my phone because I only have like 100 other clocks to look at and the admin, god of the world, as we all know, was like, sure, we use a priotity from 1 to 10 with 10 being the best and you are a negative 5 with a 0 being the score for random office chat or coffee breaking.

Clockblock

The act of not informing or preventing someone from knowing the time, in most cases for selfish or spiteful reasons and/or even no reason at all. This can include deliberately misinforming a person a wrong time for their gain or the other parties loss in any given predicament or scenario

Though the man at the busstop clearly had a watch on, he clockblocked me when i asked for the time, leaving me unsure if i had missed my transfer.
