A person or group that follows a certain collegiate athletic team but didn’t bother to enroll or graduate from that school. Yet they have strong opinions regarding the coaching decisions that are made by “Hall of Fame” coaches and assistants.

Looks like the sidewalk alumni want the Coach’s scalp for losing to our rival.

Subway Alumni

People who root for the sports (particularly football) programs of the University of Notre Dame who never actually attended the University of Notre Dame. Typically Irish-American, alcoholic, low income, and poorly educated assholes who could never dream of being accepted to an educational institution as prestigious as Notre Dame.

They're called the Subway Alumni because the more successful ones enjoy long and prosperous careers working at a Subway sandwich franchise. The less fortunate majority of them just live on the subway.

A common Scottish grammatical error of the word aluminum/aluminium (tin foil).

This error stems primarily from Scottish-American people who go to the French alps for skiing.

"Hey dude, can you pass the aluminion foil?"
"OMG, that's so weird - there's a minion-statue here, and we were just talking about aluminion foil!?"
