A person who appears to know how to read and/or write however refuses to do so either knowingly or unknowingly.

Absolutely no relation to the word illiterate and not to be confused with someone who can't understand or use a dictionary.

-"What the hell is Bob's problem, I know he can read."

The subject replaces adjectives with um and like and is generally an idiot.

I was like, trying to um, be like, really smart but um, it like, didn't work.

An Umliker can use um or like exclusively, but they are still an umliker, and still an idiot.

I cant stand talking to that " umliker " she drives me crazy.
