Obnoxious partying males who are often seen at college parties. When they aren'€™t making an ass of themselves they usually just stand around holding a red plastic cup waiting for something exciting to happen so they can scream something that demonstrates how much they enjoy partying. Nearly everyone in a fraternity is a Sorooshbag. And ALL Sorooshbags are in fraternities.

Yoruba phrase meaning "speak up" or "speak louder". Also means "let your voice be heard", "stop beating around the bush", "go straight to the point", "hit the nail on the head", "don't sit on the fence".
Origin: This phrase became popular during the #EndSARS protests in Nigeria in early October 2020. The deputy governor of a state was addressing enraged youths in a low tone when a young man shouted "sòrò sókè wèrè", meaning "speak louder madman".
