Runs the trap

Originally meant as the person who is in charge in a place where illicit drugs are sold. AKA a traphouse.

Also can mean, someone who is a bosslike figure or calls the shots somewhere or in some function, or is just a badass.

"Have you watched the new Game of Thrones episode?"

Street racing is illegal in the United States, so when someone wants to race on the road, they will call them "mexico runs", referring to racing in Mexico, even though they are actually in the US.

Steve: "Hey dude wanna race?"

Using your best Customer service voice, confidently ask them a question that only a toddler would be comfortable asking ie. how old are you? Do you have kids? How many teeth do you have? Is this your first time in a bar? Have you ever use deodorant before? The main goal is to throw them off their rhythm and confuse them enough to leave you alone.
