Red Light Rendezvous

A special chance meeting at a red light with someone of lesser intelligence who just cut you off and/or sped in front of you so that they could get in front of you. Usually the result of wasteful speeding and/or reckless driving.

"The other day I had a red light rendezvous with a Mustang that cut me off for no reason. I promptly gave him the finger."

Red Light Rave

An impromptu "rave" held when the car is stopped at a red light. Participants ensure that the music is as lous as possible before frantically jumping out of the car and dancing in the street.

The objective is to exit the car, begin to dance, and jump back into the car before the light turns green. Best done in large groups or when high.

The light's red, everyone get out and red light rave!

red light district

A Red Light District is a place where prostitution is common. The phrase was based in the Bible where Rahab, a prostitute in Jericho, aided Joshua's spies with a red light.

Interestingly enough, the Japanese word "akasen" (red-line district) is of equal meaning to a red-light district.

Guy 1: Hey, have you ever visited Kabukicho (Japan), Patpong (Thailand), Wanchai (Hong Kong), Sunset Boulevard (California {Hollywood}) and Venus Valley (Montana)? I sure did for the last couple of years, and all were awesome!

Guy 2: Well.. all of the cities you've visited.. they are all red-light districts. I'm sure you had a real "good" time there.

A traffic light that turns red and stays red when there is no one in sight coming from any direction. Treat as a stop sign and keep going.

Red light suicide

To do one red light suicide is to run across the side of the street that is currently closed, press the pedestrian button and run back to the other side of the street and press that button. This can be done in hopes that the light will change faster. If you are very desperate you can preform a green light suicide along with a red light suicide to improve the chances that the light will change. To measure physical improvement, see how many you can do before the light changes or before you get hit by a car and keep trying to improve your score at the same intersection. Notice: this is illegal, dangerous and is sweeping the nation!!

Oh god i'm so out of shape, I could only do one red light suicides before that bus dragged me through three intersections. The antonym for red light suicide is a green light suicide.

A game played between 2 people. One person puts their hand on the other person's leg and slides it up their leg, toward their genitals, until one of the players gets uncomfortable and stops the game. The object of the game is to see how close person 1 can get to person 2's genitals before someone gets uncomfortable.

Man: Dude, did you see those guys playing red light green light?
Dude: Oh hell yeah man, they went all the way up!
