A person who thinks they're cool but isn't.
Quambie is an individual, (most of the time male) that can take multiple forms.. but can mostly be identified when one or more of the following occur either singly, or simultaneously:
A man who insists on wearing his sunglasses on the BACK of his head while indoors or after dark.
An individual who wears too much spray tan and too much cologne at the same time, and thinks it's sexy.
Persons that drive 4x4 jacked up truck with expensive tow packages, but doesn't tow a trailer or anything for that matter.
Dates persons much younger than themselves for merely visual public attention.
Those that wear still Ed Hardy gear.
A individual over 30 that still lives with his parents.
People who dress and act like a police or military officer, but who've never been either of those things.
Etc etc etc
Tips to spotting a quambie:
If you're not sure but suspect that an individual is a poser without a pose. They are a quambie.
You know a quambie when you see a quambie.
The amount of distance away a quambie is, that's easily spotted, is how much of a quambie they are.
Not to become confused with "quambie-sauce".

Get the Quambie mug.It is a portmanteau of the two words Quibble (to focus on something unimportant) and Squabble (to argue or fight). Hence, to quabble is to argue over something unimportant.
A&J were quabbling over whether to have fried eggies or scrambled eggies.
