Alternatively spelt 'Oush', Pronounced like Ew-Shh. Is a term used in low income areas of New Zealand mainly by Maori and Pacific Islanders to replace an exclamation like "Wow" usually at the beginning of a sentence, It can also be used as a thank you gesture.
