Slang reference to the notorious Jack Merde, Indiana's infamous gonzo journalist whose misadventures were chronicled by street magazines across the U.S. in the 70s and 80s via the Alternative Press Syndicate.
"Merde, you idiot! Where's that story you were supposed to have on my desk an hour ago? Are you stoned again??"

'Shit eater' in french, may designate a person who likes to eat fast food or a contemptible and resigned person who suffer ill-treatment without a fight / complaining or someone who has no honour and who likes to get into all the opportunities especially for money.

This media coverage stinks to high heaven of Merde-och.
A dog turd is cleaner and more honest than Merde-och.
You can't polish Merde-och.
I just done a Merde-och.
I trod in some Merde-och.
That guy has Merde-och for brains.
It's a Merde-ochian smear campaign.
Someone spread Merde-och all over the walls.
Someone had a Merde-och and forgot to flush.
That bastard was a total Merde-och to me.

When you accidentally merge words together, swap the first letter, or when you can't decide on which word to say so you say both, merging them. It can be because you're nervous, drunk, or just not paying attention to what you're saying. Merd worge is a merd worge in its self.
