Phrase made famous by rapper "Sid" talking about the basketball player Jimmer Fredette, in lue of 'going ham' or 'going hard in the paint'. 'Going Jimmer' can be used in many different ways wiether you were going jimmer at that party last weekend or you were going jimmer on a thot for talking back.
