For all yoiu people out there who say that the Holocaust didn't happen, you're so blind. It did happen and the world has to remember so that it never happens again to any group of people. In the Holocaust, Jews, gypsies, and thousands of others were killed by Hitler and his Nazis. All we can do now to ensure the world's safety is to remember, and denying the past will help no one. All you have to do is remember.
My great grandparets died in the Holocaust. Don't pretend it never happened.

Holocaust

The near-extermination of several races, resulting in the deaths of millions of people.

Something that we must never allow to be repeated. Ever.

Something that was, and still is, all-around terrible. Absolutely unthinkable.
Just read "Night" by Elie Wiesel... I can almost guarantee that you will cry while reading his first-hand account of the Holocaust... I know I did!

holocaust

the most horrific even in history in which the most evil dictator hitler attempted to kill of every innocent Jewish person in the world and targeted gypsies and homosexuals as well, for those of you who are ignorant and make jokes about this event you deserve to go to hell and be with satan because that is where your soul is
The holocaust was evil and the most terrible thing to ever happen to innocent people.

Holocaust

The Holacaust was the attempt of Nazi Germany during WWII to kill every single Jew, homosexual, Roma, disabled, Russian POW's, and many many other minorities. 6 million Jews were killed and 5 million Roma, gay, disabled, and other peopel who Hitler claimed were "inferior"were killed. 11 million in total. I am of a Jewish family. All my grandparents were in the Holacaust. Just my grandma alone- she came from a family of almost 100 people. Of those original 100- my grandma and 3 others survived. And for those of you who deny the holacaust- where did 96 people just from my grandma's family alone go? Where they shipped off the planet? Whatever happened to them?
And for those who say that Germans should be ashamed that they are Germans because of Hitler is strictly unfair. Not every German soldier actually believed in Nazi ideas. Many of them did, yes, and supported the "Final Solution". All soldiers had to fight, and I honestly dont believe every German supported the horrible acts of their government.
It is also a personal theory of mine that neo-Nazis deny the holacaust because they recognize what a terrible thing the holacaust was, and they dont want to believe that the people they admire and believe in could do such a thing. Once again, I am from a Jewish family, and my grandparents went through the holacaust- and so this is probably the most fair definition you will ever get.
During the holocaust 11 million were killed.
Hitler wanted to kill off evey single Jew, Gypsy, homosexual, disabled, Russian POW, some American POW's, and other minorities.
At the end, Hitler killed himself like a little pussy. The Neurenberg(sp?) Trials tryed nazi officials for crimes against humanity and war crimes. One of the main focuses of the Trials was the holocaust.

holocaust

A terrible time for the Jews. The Jewish people weren't the only ones to die but they had he highest number of deaths.

During WW2 Adolf Hitler, a terrible man, pulled the Jewish race out of their homes and forced them into concentration camps. While they were at the camps they were forced to work. That's doesn't seem that bad but whilst the fact that they basically had no food and grew very weak made the situation much worst.

Auschwitz, the biggest camp, was a death camp and a labor camp. His meant that people were worked really hard and killed in gas chambers. The chamber were filled with carbon monoxide. The has would start at the bottom and trash the top of the chamber in a short period of time. Some people died from just getting trampled by the stronger people

The holocaust is very interesting but also a very bad time in Germany, Poland, and Austria

At the front of the camps these people would be sorted into one of two lines. Stronger men would go to one side and children, pregnant women, and other women were sent to the other side. That side was sent immediately to the gas chambers. At the front of the chambers the people that were sent in were told to take off their clothes for they were being disinfected. Sometimes there were even other news persuading there fellow prisoners to go it.

Towards the end of the war the camps were liberated, meaning the British came and protected those who were still alive.
Jew: about 7,000 Jews were killed in the holocaust
Other person: u can't forget about the gypsies and homosexuals who were also killed. There were also others too
