La parpapaja puertorriqueña (t.c.c. Puerto Rican flickergooning, La parpapaja boricua) es una variación del flickergooning con raíces en Puerto Rico. Su rasgo distintivo es el uso de símbolos culturales boricuas durante la práctica. No existe un protocolo oficial, pero suele seguirse una fórmula similar. Se necesitan: un cartel de Juan Dalmau, uno de Jennifer González (ambos candidatos en las elecciones del 2024), tostones (preferiblemente de bolsa), aceite de cocina, una hoja de plátano, una estufa (cualquier tipo) y lubricante (se recomienda aceite de bebé).
Los pasos iniciales incluyen colocar la cartulina de Dalmau al frente y la de González a la derecha (90°). Se fríen los tostones por 5–10 minutos antes de comenzar. Luego, se lubrica el miembro reproductivo y se utiliza la hoja de plátano como herramienta de masturbación. El gooner se posiciona frente a Dalmau y con González a su derecha.
