Not only were you found guilty of dispatching your housemate’s perfectly amiable boyfriend, the radiation poisoning left in the living room resulted in the ASPCA haranguing you for months over alleged chemical torture of your favourite goldfish, Floptimus Prime.

Row: No, Russell! You said you’d never mention Floptimus Prime ever again! I loved him like a brother. *sobs*

Promising a groundbreaking innovative genre changing product; and then having to admit that nobody bought it, or was interested in it. An epic fail Characterized by constantly changing your story, denying that you said something you posted online only a few months before; and responding to substantive criticism by simply claiming that the critic is a loser.

Smiley fail

When you save a smiley on MSN Messenger or other and it pops up without it being your intention and ruins your message.

Henrik: The other day my aunt asked me on MSN what she should get me for christmas. I wrote that I had not thought of anything special. When I looked up from my keyboard the P in special had been replaced by a penis.

Eirik: Ooh. thats an Epic Smiley Fail. What did she say?

Henrik: She pretended like nothing, but it kind of ended the whole conversation though....

Eirik: Obviously... And it probably decreased the value of your christmas present by 50%...

Henrik: Damn Msn.

Abort, Retry, Fail?

Abort, Retry Fail? or sometimes Abort, Retry, Ignore, Fail? was an error message displayed in DOS when unable to read data. The user is prompted to hit either A, R, I or F accordingly.

Abort - Aborts the operation.
Retry - Tries to read the data again.
Ignore - Hands "default data" to the application requesting the data.
Fail - Tries to continue without the data. Fail nearly always proves unsuccessful as it will result in missing data.

Retry is in most cases the only hope for success.
