The unknown or otherwise unseen people that typically live in a form of cubby-hole found in areas such as band halls, gymnastic centers, and other places of mass gathering that has a sense of trust to its community. These people are a quick excuse as to why something in a cubbie goes "missing."

Also, these people can also be considered people who practically live where their cubbies are.

A name used to describe a group of people that paints address numbers on curbs. This is typically a fund-raising function for various beneficial organizations designed to teach young people rudimentary business skills while raising money for their group. Curbies rely on the good nature of the American resident for their success. "This is an important service as Police, Fire and Emergency Services look first to the resident's curb for their homes."

There were many curbies in California at one time, sadly,their numbers are decreasing along with the corresponding loss of civil liberties in America.
