They basically select what they want to believe in, not unlike one would visit a cafeteria and select specific plates of food, while ignoring everything else.

The 2nd war was set into motion when people grew tired of injustice, wanted their rights back as employees and Seroious accusations were made against the Chairman (Owner). There are dozens of petitions for MRs demotions and pages long on Frappe's mistakes and Cyrogenix's exposure. Only a few succeed there.
