Situation where two or more people, usually in an urban setting, have a conversation as loudly as possible. The purpose of the interaction is to express an opinion, threat, compliment, or a thread of discourse, and is said in a public forum at the top of one's voice. The call generally concerns a traditionally private or intimate subject, that most individuals would not want to be involved in, but provides free entertainment to everyone in the immediate vicinity.

Jerome and Tyrone engaged in a ghetto conference call, with Jerome's girlfriend, outside her apartment building. Although neighbors and bystanders were not intended to hear the discussion, the drama was witnessed by everyone within earshot. Everyone was amused...

convenience friend

A person who is only around when it is easy and convenient for them. They are the people who, if not placed around us, (ex. dorm rooms), all the time, they wouldn't really be friends. They are usually used to do things for you, if you need a ride to and from school, etc. They are basically friends who need you around when they need a favor, or when they are just so bored out of their minds that they would rather hang out with you than sit around all day, but they'd never put you first.

Alice lives down the street.
You: Hey what are you doing today? Want to stop by?
Alice: Sure! I'd love to hang out.

Alice lives 10 miles away, and is sitting at home watching Judge Judy reruns all days.

You: Hey what are you doing today? Want to stop by?
Alice: Oh, no, I'm really busy. Maybe some other time.

* You don't hear from Alice again.

Elena and Becky, Becky is a convenience friend.

Elena: Hey Beck, think you can give me a ride home tomorrow?
Becky: Sure, want to hang out afterwards?
Elena: I would but I have homework to do.

Twenty minutes later, Becky sees Elena going to the movies with Maggie.

convenience friend

What you become when a "friend" only wants to see or communicate with you in a certain environment, such as at school or work, but never outside of that environment to just hang out.

Also can be a friend that only ever talks to you when they need something from you, such as a ride somewhere or help with a school assignment.
When talking to this person, you might find that you feel like you are being brushed off.

Christine: Hey Chris, i was wondering if you could send me a scan of that chemistry assignment 'cause i lost mine. Oh, and if it's not too much trouble, could i get a ride to school with you tomorrow?

Chris: Yeah, i'll scan the assignment and send it in a few minutes. i'll be at your house at about 7:45 tomorrow.

Christine: Thanks buddy

Chris: No prob. Hey, what are you doing this weekend? I was thinking about going paintballing or seeing a movie. Want to come?

Christine: I can't, i have ahh...(eyes starting shifting and hands start fidgeting) dentist apointment, but maybe after that i could, i'll txt you on the weekend.

*Chris never heard back from Christine on the weekend because Chris is just a Convenience Friend to Christine

Conference Room Circle Jerk

A conference room circle jerk is when many management consultants gather to express their intelligence (see clown posse) while not getting anything done. Although many individuals who engage in this behavior come from a fraternity background, a conference room circle jerk has the opposite rules of "soggy biscuit" in that the goal is not to climax early, but rather to hold back your "pearls of wisdom" until the end of the designated meeting end time. This makes you appear to be the smartest person in the room. The loser or the consumer of the "soggy biscuit" is the individual who is in the room not paying attention while attempting to complete actual work. This person is assigned any (usually asinine) action items from the meeting.

Paul: Wow, what a conference room circle jerk! We literally spent three hours of my life that I will never get back.

Ed: That sounds terrible. Who ate the soggy biscuit?

Paul: Unfortunately Eric, he was dealing with a client issue while trying to keep his sanity during the clown show.

That asshat was a total narc so we held a man conference to ban him from the apartment for good.
