Adj. Anything pertaining or resembling Tim Burton or one of his films. A general feeling of mystical and somewhat dark wonderfulness.

A neighborhood of similar houses with similar scheduled tasks (as in Edward Scissorhands) Having no hair and special powers (like Powder) Singing about Holidays at inappropriate times (Nightmare Before Christmas)
Basically anything reminding you of a situation that would have been in a Tim Burton film is Burtonesque

Barry Burton

One of the main characters from the first Resident Evil, Barry Burton had no idea that he would receive what is most likely the worst voice acting in all of video game history. His lines are so unfathomably corny it is nigh impossible not to laugh at them. What the creators of RE were thinking (or smoking, for that matter) at the time when they wrote his character has boggled the minds of fans and players for years.

Cliff Burton

One of the greatest musicians who ever walked the Earth. A master songwriter and an experimental technical master of the bass guitar. He played bass solos at 100 miles per hour using a wah pedal (Morley) and distortion (Electro-Harmonix Big Muff). He joined Metallica in the early eighties after about a month of begging from James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich. When he finally joined, he wrote some of their biggest hits, and would have wrote more if it wasn't for a bus accident on September 27th, 1986. He was only 24. His bass in the earlier days was a Rickenbacker, in later days he used an Aria Pro II SB-1000. Aria should really make this bass more available.

A really cool unit in CnC Generals and Zero Hour, armed with a minigun, explosives, stealth and a knife. Use him well and he can wipe out half a base alone!
