A person who, like the restaurant, is average at everything and good at nothing.

Spending time with the person will never be memorable, just like spending time at Applebee's, unless you get a disease from them, as is commonplace from eating Applebee's food.

A man who doesn't wear condoms when having sex with women he hardly knows. Derived from the expression of how a man "plants his seed" to impregnate a woman. "Johnny Appleseed" can also be used to refer to a man who has many children by many women.

Took Grandma to Applebee's

Taking an older woman to a sub standard restaurant and then engaging in licking BBQ sauce out of her nether regions.

I crashed the bridge game last night and totally picked up man. Went out the next night and totally "Took Grandma to Applebee's."

BBQ sauce doesn't come out of bed sheets easily.

Applebees

A culinary abomination. Despised by anyone with a good sense of food. Poor quality food, poor service (usually managements fault), and full of MSG and all sorts of chemicals. (look up the history, they were started by a CHEMICAL company) Still happens to be a goldmine... I guess idiots have to eat somewhere...
