One of many dramatic poses from the manga/anime series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure that almost nobody would ever do in day to day life except for JoJo characters and JoJo fans, can also be used to refer to one such pose that is not from JJBA. Usually resemble poses you might see in a fashion magazine.

On Instagram, Jane's booty was humongous while doing the power pose, but when I saw her in person, she looked like a pancake.

Such pictures are usually taken at a concert/party/club, and are posted for no reason other than to make people appear successful popular and like they have a life.

Sorority Pose

The pose that all sorority girls, everywhere, at every college, immediately get into when taking a group picture. It consists of a hands-on-knees squat of varying heights, usually with a few short girls sitting in the front. This creates an easy, organized, tiered pose (because, God forbid anyone be covered in the picture).

Look at those cute A-Chi-Os! Someone pulled out a camera to take a Bid Day picture and even the pledges knew without instruction to crouch into Sorority Pose.
