A 'Rad Trad' is a Catholic who adheres to pre-1960's traditions, especially the Latin Mass in favour of the Novus Ordo (post-Vatican II mass). They're basically hardcore for all things pre-Vatican II and they reject aspects of modern Catholicism. Most would consider themselves in union with the Catholic Church, though.
