Theocratician

A person who believes that his or her country's government is a theocracy, even though it is clearly not.
My born-again-Christian roommate is a theocratician. He believes that being gay should be illegal because his religion tells him not to agree with it.

Associative Theocratic Oligarchy

The hierarchical structure isn't the problem it's that frauds and charlatans aggregate at the top and them bottle-neck the hierarchy in various places in accordance with their ethic. Because you only need to be so competent and I'm friends with this guy and not you.
Hym "The problem is that it's an Associative Theocratic Oligarchy. You're trying to do the same thing they are, just in reverse. 'BuT wE'lL rUlE wItH a GeNtLeR hAnD' and selectively cancel anyone who violates your ethic. In the exact same way. Unless you prove otherwise. In the same way that the enemy of my enemy is not always my friend; The lesser of two evils is still just evil."

Theocracy

Right now American is being ruled by a bunch of crooks because of a man who thinks God speaks thru him ,and wanted him to run for president. God Help America!

Secular theocracy

A purposely oxymoronic term for a doctrine or belief that includes no deity, yet seeks to censure non-believers in authoritarian ways similar to fundamentalist religious codes: inhibition, prohibition, penalties, physical punishment, signal-jamming, civil disruption, rough or violent confrontation.
When those demonstrators against genetically modified kitty chow were rioting blocking traffic and torching boxes of cat food, it was another victory for secular theocracy.

Theocrazy

1: The use of theology or religion to force one set of morality and beliefs on others without respect for differing perspectives or points of view.

2: Describing a person or persons with religious views he/she/they want to force upon others, or society as a whole.

3: The state or condition of being in a societal atmosphere of oppression by religion.

Often done with force, anger, or sometimes violence.
The far-right wing of the Republican party wants to turn America into a theocrazy.

The current administration of Iran is a theocrazy.

The root of Islamic extremism are the theocrazies like Osama bin Laden.

Sadly, the world today seems to be increasingly theocrazy.
