Good Providence

A phrase often used instead of "good luck". It has a more religious connotation, implying that God or some external force will provide for you.

A: I'm going on stage in 5 minutes, wish me good luck?

B: I don't believe in luck, good providence!

Poviching

An aggressive and annoying style of argument (based on the majority of arguments that occur on the Maury Povich TV show), in which an individual repeats the same phrase over and over. Meant to simply frustrate the opponent into giving up his/her argument.

Person A: "I really think you just need to look at the facts again... If you did, I think you would change your mi..."
Person B (interrupting): "KISS MY ASS! KISS MY ASS! KISS MY ASS!"
Person A: "Just listen to what I'm sayi..."
Person B: "KISS MY ASS! KISSSSS MY ASS!"
Person A leaves.

Person C: "Man, Person B is an expert in poviching."
