A question posed by one lifelong St. Louis area native to another upon first meeting or after having recently met. The purpose is to learn if you and the other person have any mutual acquaintances.
Shelly: "Oh, you've lived in St. Louis all your life? Where'd you go to high school?"

Steve: "Pattonville"

Shelly: "Pattonville? Uh, let's see, do you know a guy named Mark Henderson?"

well I'll be go to hell

Variation of phrase used when reacting to something interesting or surprising ("well I'll be darned")used in reaction to something that doesn't make all that much sense, or is just stupid.
First guy: "I had to split the gearbox at the seam, opened it up, and there was an old bent roofing nail jamming the bitch"

Second guy: "Well I'll be go to hell"

The emphasis is generally on the word "I'll" and on the first three words "well I'll be".
The final three words are generally said in a softer tone, muttered, or said under one's breath.

hit the sack... and then go to bed

A declaration used in parting from company when one is about to retire for the evening to sleep, but not before masturbating.

In delivery, there should be a slight pause between "sack" and "and" to emphasize that what was implied by the first statement was not what was actually intended.
Me: Well, guys... I oughta be getting along. Time to hit the sack... and then... go to bed.

My Company: (moment of dawning... laughs and jeers)
