Boston University is one of the choices for genius whiz kids who score a perfect 1600 in their SATs and turned down Harvard University, Yale University, or Princeton University. The only reason that it is lower ranked is that US News & World Report (the retarded version of Time Magazine for people who can't read above a 10th grade reading level, mind you) brainwashes everyone and are jealous of BU) and that the Ancient Eight (Ivy League schools) don't want tehir sorry stick-up-their-ass reps being blown by this one kick ass institution with a great a$$ social life.

The school is located in Dorchester, MA (a section of Boston) which overlooks Boston Harbor. It is near the Kennedy Library and University of Massachusetts. B.C. High was founded in 1863 and educates over 1500 all male students from grades seven through twelve. Tuition is quite high just like any other Catholic school, but many of the students receive scholarships and financial aid. Due to the schools priorities, students are not recruited based on their athletic abilities, but the football, basketball, baseball, swimming, hockey, golf, soccer, and track teams are amongst the best each season. The schools biggest rival is Catholic Memorial High School (CM). Located a few miles away in West Roxbury. B.C. High was ranked #10 in the nation for top sports programs, it was the only school in New England to be ranked. Students come from all over the state, some even from Rhode Island and New Hampshire to attend. However, the majority of the students come from the city of Boston. 99% of B.C. High graduates go on to attend a 4-year college. In Boston's magazine B.C. High was chosen as the number one high school for "Politicians in Training".

A rigorous Jesuit school just outside west Boston, which consistently admits intelligent, motivated kids. Admittedly we don't have that much economic diversity - most of the kids at BC, no matter what race they are, come from very wealthy families. Some of the international students at BC come from such powerful families that they use fake names at school. The school is famously preppy. Brooks Brothers is practically a school uniform and Vineyard Vines did a photo shoot at the school recently.
However, the school constantly tries to attract a more diverse student body and there are more middle-class and lower-middle class kids now than there were before.
