A incomplete or sub-par job completed when shaving ones pubes. This is normally a result of being rushed or under a deadline. (buddy coming over real quick) Altered Image jobs almost always have to be touched up at a later date.

Person 1: Hey man, did you trim up for tonight?
Person 2: Nah dude, I didn't have time so I gave it the altered image treatment.

Alter Negro is an alternate ego of an African American, typically for African Americans that have made success in such fields as: rap, hip hop, R&B, as well as other musical styles favored by mainstream listeners. Usually used in the comparing of artists' lifestyles before and after they become well known.

- Akon has been found to have only served 6 months probation before hitting it big.
- No way man! He did like, 3 years of solid jail time or something.

The fashion of favoring all things anti-establishment regardless of their individual merits: alter-native medicine, alter-native media, alter-native reality.

The portion of the population that supports ideas and beliefs specifically because they are alternative, rather than mainstream, without regard to the instrinsic meaning of the belief. Ideas that were once alternative, but become mainstream are typically abandoned in favor of new alter-beliefs.

Bob's a a slave to alterculture fashion. He used to be a member of the Global Nuclear Disarmament Club. But when the Cold War ended he joined the Fairtrade Nukes for the Third World Society.
