Person 2: "You can't STEAL an art style dude. Beginning artists often take inspiration from things they like and use it as grounds to learn how to draw. Even if they based it off that artist's art style they're creating original pieces with it. Everyone draws different anyway, it's impossible to 100% copy an art style. We're all going to do certain parts differently than other artists. Of course, artists need to branch off and experiment from one art style but it's not like some CRIMINAL thing that you need to be #ISOVERPARTY about."

Good knowledge of music, art, movies, books, and creative stuff from both mainstream and non-mainstream media, they aspire to (or already have) careers in the arts/entertainment industry. Reads widely, often creates over multiple artistic mediums, and in some cases is very tech-literate. Some 60's influences in terms of fashion and iconography. Often natural hair color. Girls sometimes sport pale lip tints, dark eyeshadow a la' Edie Sedgewick, while guys are often into hats and caps. Vision-challenged art-nerds often lean towards retro or nerd style glasses, many owning more than two pairs of specs. Fashion influences come from Librarian, Nerdcore, Geek, Punk, 60's and Edwardian.

Alternately, synonymous with post-punk or post-hardcore, although not in as terribly wide usage as those terms.
Wire are often considered the definitive art punk band, although there's a pretty strong case for Mission of Burma, or even Fugazi.

They express themselves in many ways but in an artistic and creative way. They usually dress in clothes which are considered "artistic", "Unique", "Different". They enjoy talking about art and usually study some form of art. They like drawing and painting and expressing there fellings and emotions through art. They usually listen to music which they consider to be artistic some art kids believe that "Music is a form of art" So they listen to things like Emo and Indie music because they believe this type of music is creative. They are similar to Hipster kids but they just have a more intresting fell for art. They usually carry a messenger bag or ruck sack and some sorta sketch pad with them to draw the things around them. They hang out in coffee shops and usually design and make alot of there clothes to give them an artistic fell.They sometimes have paint on there jeans and have ripped jeans and converses. Some art kids like to combine there style with Vintage. An art kid is a kid generally intrested in forms of art and fashion. Usually seen in Middle or High school. Very good at art and take alot of art lessons at school and are into creative lessons. They may die there hair different colours or grow it to different lengths to make it look artistic and indviular.
