queer

Re-claimed umbrella term used to describe the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender/Transsexual and general non-heterosexual communities. Queer is the opposite of Straight.

The word is becoming more acceptable than ‘Gay’ especially for homosexual woman and bisexuals who often object to being called’ gay’ which is used more often to describer gay men. It is still often used (just as ‘gay’ is) as an insult to queer people, but is taken with a pinch of salt these days.

Originated from the character "Teabag" from the TV series Prison Break who would have his prison yard "bitch" follow him around hanging from the inner pocket sleeves of his pants.

This term refers to a male who claims to be straight but exhibits obvious traits of homosexuality and femininity.

Seriously man... your queer pockets are showing.

four year queer

A guy or girl who dates their own gender during college but after graduation goes back to heterosexual relationships. This is known to happen a lot in, but is not limited to, single sex institutions.

-Did you hear that Megan dumped Sarah for a guy?
-Yeah, everyone knew she was a four year queer.
