jack of all trades

A term used to describe someone who knows a lot about many things, but, with the second tag "master of none" added it transforms into a derogatory phrase meant to emphasize how mastery of one skill is important for deeper knowledge.

However, one, oft forgotten tag is the third one: "is oftentimes better than a master of one". Instantly, the term reverses meaning, symbolizing how a person who knows a lot about many things that integrates their skills allows them to surpass even a master of one.

Interesting phrase, nonetheless.

"Man, Tom knows a lot! He's a jack of all trades, aint he?"

"Yeah, but he probably doesn't know a lot about specifics. You know how it goes: Jack of all trades, master of none."

"Jack of all trades, master of one, is oftentimes better than master of one, man. Tom's pretty smart."

Jack Dice

Jack Dice is when a person rolls a dice, declares the number (or simply a result, like a success), and plucks the dice off the table so quickly the result cannot be verified.

It is as if the dice was snatched off the ground as quickly as picking up a jack in a game CALLED "Jacks".

Person 1 rolls dice, a 2 and a 3

"Wow, I rolled a 12!" and quickly scoops them up before anyone else can read them.

Person 2: "JACK DICE!"

Jack Herer

Jack Herer(b. 1939) is the author of The Emperor Wears No Clothes, a book which has been used in efforts to decriminalize cannabis.

A former Goldwater Republican, Herer is now a pro-marijuana and hemp activist. He has written two books, the aforementioned The Emperor Wears No Clothes and Grass. There has also been a documentary made about his life. He believes that the hemp plant should be decriminalized because it has been shown to be a renewable source of fuel, food, and medicine, and can be grown in virtually any part of the world. He has devoted his life to the support of cannabis, hemp and marijuana.

Jack Herer is also the name given to a specific strain of cannabis that is considered by Herer to be among the world's finest.

This Jack Herer is expensive, but worth it.

samurai jack

a super awsome show about a samurai named jack who get sent into the future by a magic skinny black guy named aku. Jacks goal in the show is to find a portal in which to return to the past and defeat aku. Even though he finds a portal in almost every episode he never manages to return,thus giving the creators the ability to make a season finale at any givin time without anybody seeing it coming.The last episode actually ends up being the prolouge to the first episode when jacks father gets the magic sword from the gods and defeats aku and locks him up for a few years.
