Destruction through Construction

The act of diminishing or destroying the original meaning or purpose of an entity (be it individual, location, building, group, etc) during the act of building it up (building up the image, adding to the building, adding more rules to a group, etc). Not to be confused with hype, which is the building up of expectation.

Guy 1: “Man the club used to be so fun, now its just a drag, what happened?”
Guy 2: “Destruction through construction, id say it happened when that one guy came in and added all those rules.”

{noun} a being created for the sole destruction of the planet Earth and the eradication of all human life. Thought by many to be the second coming of the Anti-Christ, though the destructikon is a product of science and not divinity. Rumored to have been developed by black ops U.S. funding to counter Russia's newest genome project. His physical capabilities are off of the charts due to strenuous genetic reassigning. It is estimated that he can level an entire metropolitan city in a matter of minutes. Current status of destructikon is unknown, as he went AWAL from an army facility at Fort Detrick, MD in 2003.

Destructo-Five

A high five of inconceivably devastating force, often doing damage to the hands of the high-fivers and any structure nearby. Can be performed in incredibly extreme situations; driving two cars at over 100 mph in opposite directions and having the drivers high five each other is an efficient way to perform a destructo-five.

After finishing our final exam, I was so happy that the horrible class was over that I destructo-fived my friend and blew a wing off the school!
