Mortimerian Tale

A story that exists in the twilight zone between real and unreal. It is typically highly detailed and of an almost sureal fashion, the mortimerian tale is equally believable as it is unbelievable. The art of telling a mortimerian tale lies within the ability to make a story that may or may not be true seem plausable, therefore making it difficult to find out wether or not its true. The name comes from the stories British comedian Bob Mortimer tells in various TV shows. Examples include "theft and shrubbery", "I perform my own dentistry", and "we were removed from town for freightening the locals".
