project mentality

A behavior typically encountered in urban neighborhoods and housing project areas. Where the did not not see any thing don't know anything concept is practiced in a uniformed way. The understanding that no one needs to worry about you and you do not worry about them. There is no concern for problems occuring within your community, neighborhood or for your next door neighbor unless it affects you or your property directly.

The Homeowners assocation held a meeting to organizing a neighborhood park clean up day. One neighbor spoke out indicating that is was not our park why should we clean it up. Several people in the meeting said that he should give up project mentality way of thinking.

A defect in the minds function. But does not nessercerily affect your intelegence. Saying a mental illness makes you crazy/stupid/funny is like saying an eating disorder makes you fat.

Bill Gates, who is a multi-billionare, invented the personal computer, is very creative and in the top ten smartest men alive suffers from aspergers syndrome, which is infact a mental illness.
