Scrollem

A term used to describe a person often associated with low socio-economic status, typically living in public housing or a similar environment. A scrollem is characterised by an apparent lack of ambition or employment and their demeanor or habits may suggest a disregard for cleanliness or social norms.

Scrolltapraxia

1. A habitual motor misfire in which an individual instinctively attempts to scroll, tap, or interact with a physical surface (e.g., paper, books, notebooks) as if it were a touchscreen.

2. A cognitive lapse resulting from frequent digital device use, causing momentary confusion when transitioning to analog materials.

• Midway through his sketch, Jake experienced a moment of scrolltapraxia, instinctively double tapping his paper to undo a mistake.
• Her brain was so wired for digital interactions that she kept attempting to scroll her notebook. A clear case of scrolltapraxia.
