George W Bush's name for the internet. It's mentioned in one of the other definitions on this page that his usage is correct. This is purely accidental. Coming from someone who was frighteningly intelligent and a brilliant orator, one might be tempted to give him the benefit of the doubt. But coming from someone who is profoundly unable to form sentences, say 'nuclear', ride bikes, ride Segways or eat pretzels, it's safe to assume that this is just another in a long line of oratorical train wrecks for poor old Bush Jr.

Internet-induced insomnia

The condition of becoming an internet zombie by surfing the net when you should be sleeping. As you enter this state it becomes easier and easier to come up with excuses to see 'just one more link'. It doesn't always fly as an excuse why you are falling asleep at work.

conflict of interest

A financial, emotional, reputational, or other personal interest in any matter held by a person having authority over the same matter. Tking advantage of authority over such a self-serving personal interest may be considered criminal. At the very least, it is usually harmful to others.

Most legislators either already have been, or eventually become lawyers, so they abuse their conflict of interest over legislation to make sure that laws are conducive to the job security of lawyers and legislators.
