Get the honorismmug. What detractors say to discredit the ancient Egyptians. In reality, the citizens of that area were little different statistically from folks elsewhere in the world at the time... there were the nice ones, and then there were the not-so nice ones.
Anybody who believes that there's no honor among Thebes hasn't read the history books --- it was a typical "mixed bag" of people, just like with civilizations everywhere.
