The only part of the United States that really matters. The East Coast, Maine through Virginia, is home to America's largest city and the global financial capital...New York, or "the city" since all the rest pale in comparison. The East is home to other important cities such as Washington DC (wait, isn't that the capital?), Boston (wait, isn't that our smartest city?), and Philadelphia (wait, isn't where America was born?). The East Coast has the country's finest resort areas at its various islands and shores (Maine, the Cape, Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, Long Island, the Jersey Shore, and Delaware Coast) and mountain areas (Poconos, Berkshires, Catskills). The East Coast also has the best food (everyone else THINKS they know pizza, subs, and bagels). The East is home to our best colleges (ever realize all of the Ivy League schools are in the East?), public transportation that makes the rest of the country look like sub-Saharan Africa and, we have class. Apparently the rest of the country forgot what it meant to get dressed up...no it isn't your "nice" jeans. We still know that you are supposed to wear belts AT ALL TIMES, not supposed to show underwear and when someone is talking to you..keep eye contact.
Sure East Coast people are skimpy on the "politeness" but at least we are honest. We won't smile and laugh just to be agreeable...we will form our own opinions and make them known. In sum, remember, it is called the Eastern Standard for a reason.

Oh yeah.....your food is nasty, Hollister is nasty and try to remember the pants next time you are supposed to dress up. What's with your obsession with blue jeans and flip flops (with socks by the way)? Ever heard of shoes? Oh, they are called sneakers in case you were wondering, unless you are planning to play tennis.

Get the East Coast mug.Growing up in east haven in the 1980's, I can only give a defintion of what it was like in that era: East Haven was a great town to grow up in, not much to do, but what town has more than parks, a bowling alley, a beach, and your local burger king, but east haven had some of the hottest girls around, every town has their local whores, and east haven was no different, With 95% of the population italian, you would be welcome at any one of your friends house on a sunday afternoon for a meal you would be sure to remember, Education was not a top priority in East Haven, that is why our rumble record is so good, no matter what part of east haven you are referring to...momauguin or main street or foxon, we were unstopable against surrounding cities, branford, new haven, west haven, wherever, it didn't matter because east haven had some of the toughest kids around, if we weren't hanging around and getting in trouble we were working out and messing around with our dirt bikes. To sum it up; East Haven is known for Italian families who respect one another, Excellent pizza and subs, Friends that you make in East Haven, you will have for a life time, and lastly...Beautiful women.

This neighborhood is diverse in many ways, including the age and cultural background of its residents. East Falls borders the Schuylkill River, and can be seen as an active community in an ideal location. Some positive aspects of East Falls: the recreational trails (The Loop on Kelly Drive, Wissahickon, and Forbidden Drive), the lack of fast food restaurants, the accessibility to Center City (via Regional Rail and Bus), and the landscape (there are actually hills in East Falls, unlike most of Philadelphia).
