“why do I hear high heels clicking in the distance?” you look around.

a figure approaches.
you watch as the figure walks towards you, strutting flawlessly as the clicks of the high heels increase in volume.
As the person approaches you, they come to a sudden stop with a loud echoing click of the heel.
you stare for a moment.
