A play on the term “Boomer” referring to the baby boomer generation. This group of gen Z goers are the coolest kids around who spend the majority of their day on TikTok or playing among us. This term is so perfect because this generation has had to adapt to life online through the platform “Zoom” during quarantine times, in order to not catch the Coronavirus.

Grandma: Can you set up a meeting for grandpa’s birthday?
Grandson: Sure we can host a Zoom for the family
Grandma: You are so tech savvy
Aunt Karen: No he’s just a Zoomer

Usually younger, they enjoy newer forms of entertainment and music. And they spend enough time online that it can take a toll on them. And this stereotype pisses off older generations.

All the Zoomers at the gamestop are very annoying.

The Board of Education was Zoomeranging the students, because the Teachers' Union didn't want to be in the schools, but the parents didn't want their kids at home.
