This theory was meant to be used and understood in an academic context, but apparently a few people decided it would be "cool" to use in mainstream discourse (i.e. social media). Thus, the misunderstanding begins.
In all seriousness, for one to understand CRT, you would need to understand what "critical theory" is first. I am referring to the philosophical theory and framework written by Adorno & Horkheimer, which is basically a heated critique on mass-produced culture.
If one does not understand the tenets to this theory, then one should not voice their uninformed opinions on said theory.
Of course, perhaps the fault lies more in the people who decided to abuse this term. And in that case, I understand you 100%, but at the same time it's still unfair to dismiss it as BS.

The game consists in battling enemies with a peculiar way of combat: instead of the well known and widely used mouse button to attack, you have to touch orbs that spawn in the battle area with your character, or alternatively use active abilities pressing 1, 2, or 3 on your keyboard or clicking/tapping on the icons. The game has different classes with different attacks and also has a rebirth feature that clears all your levels for 1 (Eternal Flame) or 3 (Scorching Eternal Flame) random items in the game, except for unobtainable ones. Eternal Flame Exclusives are items only obtainable through rebirthing, and are worth a lot in trading due to their rarity (5% from Eternal Flame and 2% from Scorching Eternal Flame). Most can be upgraded using an Eternal Fragment, dropped by a Him (boss) with a 10% chance. To rebirth, you need the max level (400). Skins are obtainable through Craig, a monkey who sells skin boxes at Punky Sky for 20K reputation each. Reputation, experience and gold are obtainable through defeating enemies or completing quests (currently, quests are only present in Samurai Island). Critical Legends once had factions: separate Discord servers that might have competed against each other in a boss race, if the game hadn't died shortly before. Critical Legends was made by Radi Studios.

Get the Critical Legends mug.When an individual gives critisism of a piece of work in a way, which directly describe the part of the work they found inadequate or unpleasant usually backed up with arguments/their reasoning for why they found it so.
This form of critisism is often meant as a genuine help for the original creator of the work to improve in the future, though it is up to the person receiving the critisism to reflect on and see if they agree with it.
An individual who becomes enraged when receiving constructive criticism is reffered to as a "Dick"

Boy I sure am happy that someone gave me constructive criticism that I can use to reflect on my work and improve on it in the future, instead of just saying "bro this shit is fucking ass".
I should be very thankful they took the time to actually write constructive criticism that might help me gain a different perspective and see flaws in my own work, which I might have overlooked due to personal bias for my own work, instead of writing "bro this shit is fucking ass".
I really am lucky to not have my head so high up my own ass, that I am able to look at this constructive criticism and gain some valuable insight that I would not have been able to if they just wrote "BRO THIS SHIT IS FUCKING ASS".

Get the constructive criticism mug.Aka SML Reviewer, Old SML Fanboy, or SML Boomer is a lonely male adult virgin usually in the millennial or Gen Z demographic. Who does nothing but complain and make boring lazy reviews about an internet puppet show named SML. These criticisms are always the exact same thing and can always be summed up as "Old SML good, Modern SML bad". They have yet to grow up and for some reason are unable to grow up past their plush cooming phase. They can't accept that the old version of the show will never return, and will constantly grift on the massive hate train of the modern show. They are entitled set of elitists who thinks they are opinions are more superior than anyone else in the community. Jeffy has been used as a massive scapegoat on why Modern sml "sucks" and have tried massive campaigns to axe the character even though he's the sole reason the channel became super popular in the first place. Some critics have even "threatned" to leave even though they are no threat and usually the ones that quit comeback like a month later. They take the show way too seriously. They even go as far into thinking they have some platonic relationship with the creators even though it's very obvious he doesn't give a crap about them and a few dared called "evil" because of his greed even though a lot of reviewers are no better than him. They can be Pedophiles and absolute creeps.
