muffle

n. An acronym of Modern Usage For Finding Latin Erudition.*

Muffles are anything found at the present time that are derived from Latin or Greek or allude to them.

Derivitives are not muffles.

Muffles can be shared with Latin classes to earn a student extra credit in the class.

*May be replaced with Edification.
