Grinding

A term used among a certain group a friends to imply vigiourous work being done. As well as goals being accomplished. In reality it jus means they are doing the same thing. Activities extend to eating ass, bar hopping, concert going, being with young women(at least for a certain member),partaking in drugs and alcohol. Also claiming to be working out and getting shape but never really doing so.

Man I've been to busy grinding, I ain't got time for the bs.

Pallet Grinding

The annoying habit of speaking from deep in the back of the throat thus creating a sort of gravely tone. Most easily noticeable when done by women as it lowers the tone of their voice as well.

"grinding" is drug-world lingo for an informant going onto the street to identify drug dealers, who are then busted - and robbed - by the police.

Mosby provided information about which "hitters" were carrying drugs; King and Murray would "catch and release" the dealers, stripping them of their money and drugs. Then, according to prosecutors and trial testimony, the officers would illegally sell the drugs to Mosby at a discount. He in turn, he said, resold the drugs back out on the streets.

They called it "grinding," Mosby told the jury.

the officers "grinded" before or after their regular shifts, calling it their real work.
