That dreaded thing you want to see on your YouTube channel. Usually, your YouTube channel gets a copyright strike by uploading a video with a copyrighted song or movie in it and YouTube takes that video down.

A derogatory term for forum posts which contain a direct or nearly direct copy-and-paste of memes, posts from older forum discussions, or other material, often accompanied by an attempt to pass off the contents as new and original. Commonly seen on 4chan.org's Random ("/b/") forum.

Copytripping

The act of subconsciously stealing from other peoples' copyrighted materials. The underlying philosophy is that creativity for the copytripper is defined by other people. By watching other people, the copytripper can unlock their individual creativity and channel it.
