(v.) any action that impedes or stalls another's admission into college

(n.) Since we both wanted to get into Brown, Bob (and his high SAT score) acted as a college block to my ambitions.

(v.) Bob college blocked me by telling the Brown admissions representative/interviewer that I had cheated to get through high school.

College Graduate Dichotomy

When a person graduates from college, although they have a degree they may not be able to get a job because they don’t have experience. But, they can’t get experience unless they get a job.

The term was first coined by Dain Lewis on his blog the smart college grad.

Jack graduated from college with a degree in business. But, Jack didn't work at any businesses while in college. Jack then couldn't get a job after college because he didn't have experience. But, he couldn't gain any experience because no one would hire him. Jack found himself in the college graduate dichotomy.

College Clean

The state of clothing or fabric that is not exactly clean, but still not too dirty to use or wear. As most college students are too lazy or broke to clean their fabrics regularly, they will wait until everything is no longer "College Clean" before washing.

Guy 1: hey man didnt you wear that shirt the other day?

Guy 2: yeah, but its fine, its still college clean

College Casual

A dress code commonly used by college organizations. It is between business casual and classroom casual. College casual includes nice jeans or slacks and a nice top. Athletic wear isn't allowed.

Alex: What are we supposed to wear to the meeting tomorrow?
Ian: College casual.
Alex: So a skirt and blouse?
Ian: Yes.
