vision board

A vision board is a collage of inspiring pictures of people, places, quotes, foods that you love which define your goals and aspirations for the next 6 months to 1 year.

Vision board is usually specific, if you have a specific goal. E.g. if you aspire to get a new car.. You can't just put a picture of a car it has to be the specific car, exact colour of it, exact make of it, the interior. The more specific the goal the better.

A vision board is usually divided into sections : Wealth Goal, Reputation Goal, Spiritual Goal, Love Goal, Health Goal, Relationship Goal, Career Goal, Hobbies, Travel / Fulfilment goal.

Having pictures, statements and numbers is recommended. A date and a mantra is usually in the centre of the vision board.

Dream Big. It needs to feel right. This is for you. Use the board as a compass.

Blubber-Vision

This is what many overweight people have when they criticize or point out the thinness of people who are actually at a healthy weight level. The majority of thin criticism comes from overweights who suffer from “Blubber-Vision”. This is especially acute when the overweight person has recently gained and subconsciously justifies it by looking down on people with healthy weight -- viewing others' body mass through the lenses of their own obesity.

My Aunt Sally suffers from Blubber-Vision. She is always saying how thin and unhealthy I look, even though she weighs 300 lbs.
