They will usually site the Roman Empire throwing christians to the lions as an example. Despite the fact that this was a punishment only handed to criminals and denying that early christians were arsonists and terrorists.

Christian Persecution is the excuse the right wing uses as an excuse to commit genocide against those not deemed white or christian enough.
