Although the largely Conservative Party supporting UK Press predicted a landslide victory she in fact ended up losing her overall majority the major oppostiion Party (Labour ) having gained 30 more seats than they held before the election. Theresa May has now lost her overall majority and is in a greatly weakened political position. Whence the expression "Doing a Theresa".
