Booster Juice

A smoothie drink that spoiled teenage/adolescent girls drink because they believe a beverage that costs $5.00 + will be beneficial to then.

Really, all smoothies are atleast 320 calories +, and cosist of frozen fruit, a "booster" and sugar saturated fruit punch.

Boosters can consist of calcium, whey protein, macha, etc. Usually increasing calory count and given in such small amounts that "healthy" results remain unoticeable to the drinker. Great for weight gain if you're a guy. Or a girl if you like.

The overweight girl woddled into the lecture hall with her overstretched Lululemon pants on and giant TNA bag while she guzzled down her Booster Juice.

Spreading the word, or 'raising awareness' of an issue without actually doing anything useful (like, say, donating money). Popularly employed on Tumblr by image-conscious bloggers who want to look like they care deeply about a cause or issue, while they try to avoid investing any time, money or effort into said cause.

A Tumblr slacktivist reads a blog post from another Tumblr user who doesn't have enough money to pay rent and is shamelessly groveling for money on the internet.

Tumblr blogger: "Reblogging this is as good as giving money, right? I'll just tag it 'signal boost' so everyone knows how much I care about raising awareness and helping others."
