Psycho Texting

When a person texts another person over and over and over again in a psycho manner, generally occurs when the person doesn't want to talk to the person texting. A form of blowing up someones phone text style.

Man this dude is psycho texting me blowin up my phone when he knows I don't wanna talk to him.

A person who persistently sends long and boring text messages to your phone when it would be much easier to just call

Double Texter

Someone who texts you once, then, for whatever reason when you don't text back they feel the need to text you again. Possibly on the same topic but usually consists of a sad face and a question conscerning your friendship (usually sarcastic). This has the potential to make you resent someone.

"Hey what's going on homie?"

No text back

":( Or just don't reply. I thought we were friends?!?"

"Why are you such a double texter noob? It really pisses me off...I was doing laundry I DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO RESPOND!!!"

COD Texting

When one or both participants involved in the text conversation are participating in Call of Duty online matches. This conversation is characterized by one to two minute bursts of conversation, immediately followed by 10 to 15 minutes of no response due to that person's involvement in a game. This can be very frustrating to those unfamiliar with the ways of the COD.

Person 1 - "Hey dude how's it goin?"

Person 2 - "Hey man its goin well. What are you up to tonight?"

10 minutes pass

Person 2 - "???"

5 more minutes pass

Person 1 - "Hey man, I was playin COD. Got a chopper gunner and almost a nuke! Ya I'm not sure what I'm up to."

Person 2 - "Ya me too. You need to let me know when you're playin call of duty. Its rude to be COD texting when you start a conversation."

To carry on a conversation via the sending (and receiving) of text messages. To partake in texting (not simply the sending of a text message) you must have an actual conversation with another, or multiple people, similar to an aim conversation. Texting is very convenient because you can communicate with another individual virtually anywhere at any time, and if you are stealthy enough no one will even know you are texting. Regular texters are silently bound to the rules of text etiquette.

I spent hours last night texting about The Lord of the Rings to my friend.

Kelly got her phone taken away in geometry when the teacher caught her texting.
