Slide Day

A very special holiday where two people celebrate the event in one has slid into the other's DM (direct messages) to initiate a relationship, exotic night, friendship, etc.

Two years prior to Tia answering Shaq's DM on Instagram, the two celebrate their Slide Day as a couple.

A Freudian slip that lasts far too long to simply be a slip of the tongue.

Example #1:

Example #2:

A breif moment of jubilation or feeling of immense well-being which is mercilessly cut short by an interaction with slushy animal feces discarded upon a pavement. Often accompanied by a catastrophic interruption of traction during carefree perambulation.

I left the pub quite cheerful last night, until I did a glory slide and landed on my arse.
